Winter Writing Fellows
After the
long summer, I am finally able to pull out my comfortable sweaters and jackets.
I want to enjoy the moment and just watch the leaves change color. But after a
few minutes in the office, I realize it is time to start planning our Winter
Quarter courses.
The UCWbL
has already started taking requests from DePaul Faculty for Winter Quarter
Writing Fellows. This is a resource it is best to ask for as soon as possible.
If you are
interested, you can find more information about the program and make your
request here:
Aloud!

celebrate SNL’s Month of Writing, the DePaul Writers Guild wants to feature
members of the SNL community at their October 20 open mic. This is a great
opportunity for SNL students, faculty, and staff to share their work with a
supportive audience. It will also be a great opportunity to hear the work of
other members of the DePaul community.
Aloud!

October 20 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
1600
Lewis Center, 25 E. Jackson Blvd.

Writing @ SNL
In addition to overseeing SNL's core writing courses
(Writing Workshop and Writing for Competence), the SNL Writing Program offers
the following events to support student writing. Email SNLwriting@depaul.edu for more information.

This October, SNL Writing will host the 5th
annual Month of Writing where all SNL students, faculty, and staff are
encouraged to write their hearts out to celebrate writing. To register,
